GAIT’s membership is diverse and includes public school educators, library/media specialists, corporate trainers, vocational instructors, college media and technology directors, university professors, and commercial vendors. All unite in activities designed to expand and disseminate information and communications technology and improve instruction through the systemic development, utilization and management of learning resources, including people, processes and technology
What are the Types of Membership?

GAIT has several types of memberships that one can choose. Qualifications and dues for each type are as follows:
Regular Member: Any individual, whether in education, government service, industry, or commercial agencies, may become a regular member by payment of annual dues in the amount of $15.00. Regular Members shall have the right to vote, to perform committee work, to hold appointive positions, and/or to hold elective positions for which they are qualified.
Sponsoring Organization: Any organization, upon payment of $250 annually, may designate up to three employees as regular GAIT members.
Student Member: Any full-time student who is actively pursuing a degree may join the Association for a period of two years at the rate of $5.00 per year. Student members shall have the right to vote, to perform committee work, to hold appointed positions, and/or to hold elective positions for which they are qualified.
Paraprofessionals and Retired Professionals: Any paraprofessional or retired professional may join the Association at the rate of $5.00 per year. Paraprofessionals or retired professionals shall have the right to vote, to perform committee work, to hold appointed positions, and/or to hold elective positions for which they are qualified.
Lifetime Member: Any individual, whether in education, government service, industry, or commercial agencies, may become a lifetime member by payment of a one-time fee ($300.00 starting July 2019). Lifetime Members shall have the right to vote, to perform committee work, to hold appointive positions, and/or to hold elective positions for which they are qualified.
